Ameerah

|
Ameerah was first introduced to bellydance as a small child. Her mother had gotten a record on "learning to bellydance". Ameerah thought it was wonderful to dance along with her mother to this fun music. From that time on she always wanted to become a bellydancer.
Born and raised in Michigan, it wasn't until she moved to Atlanta that she finally got the opportunity. Her dance experience includes cheerleading, dance team, and gymnastics. Ameerah uses this experience to complement her bellydance style. Her first instructor was Rayzhana at Atlanta Dance. She then had Marcia, who added a very Brazilian flavor to her dance. She is currently learning with Majida Anwar who has a very dramatic and Egyptian dance style.
